Description
The edge computing software SlapOS (https://slapos.nexedi.com/) integrates certain cybersecurity aspects: source signature, system image integrity verification, zero knowledge, etc. We want to extend these cybersecurity elements by making cybersecurity within SlapOS a service like any other, according to the "everything is a service" principle.
We are looking for developers interested in any of the following topics:
- Automating the integration of CVEs (https://www.cve.org/) into the build process
- Integrating the detection of attacks or flaws in the monitoring process
- Automate the deployment of cybersecurity orchestration software (e.g. https://github.com/Patrowl)
Responsibilities
- Improve the security of RapidSpace services
- Contribute to the quality of software deployed by SlapOS
- Monitor the security of open source software
Opportunities
- Python development
- Knowledge of a build and automatic test environment (DevOps)
- Contribution to complex free and open source software solutions
